battle damage strike dio wip pt2

hey guys.. been a super busy week for me....

anyways small update.

steps i did to paint base:

used desert yellow and buff for the dio.

panel wash with flat earth and then back after

dry brush with desert yellow+white.

now all that's left is a layer of flat coat to make it more realistic

im out of ideas. i donno how come its not as nice as i thought it would be.

but atleast i did learn and experience something new!

might be using providence for this dio instead.. we'll see :)

1/100 Providence dio wip

not much stuff. just a very old strike gundam which i snap-fitted a long long time ago.

hello again..

some asshole bug decided to lay eggs on one of dragoon system of the very first gundam that i have ever airbrushed, the providence. how retarded. does it even look like a nesting ground for bugs??? who the fuck does it think it is. to lay its eggs on my gundam! zzzz

maybe the bug hates raw le cruz.

went down to takashimya again last nite to see the remaining entries which i have missed out with keith foong and jay. alot alot of impressive works. but i didn't see anything from Kenny (toymaker) or leon ku, 2 of Sg finest modellers.

Still got shit loads of backlogs. what should i do next. haiz... choices choices..

anyway for those who play world of warcraft. this came out from the wow website. But the mods would be insane. but would be very nice to try. but.. maybe not in the near future. atleast not for me. lol

Bakuc 2009

2 days ago. i finally recieved a phone call. Sheng Tai called me and told me that i was shortlisted for Bakuc 2009. haha u have no idea how long i've waited for this phone call. The worse thing is that my phone is spoilt. The other party will not be able to hear my voice. lol! shit. I also have not finished my bakuc piece cos i didnt have motivation thinking i wasn't shortlisted.

2009 Bakuc Entry: God Doesn't Exist.

Story:
It is the year 2307. Fossil fuels have run dry, but mankind has obtained a new surce of energy; three enormous Space Elevators equipped with massive solar power generation systems. However, the only ones able to reap the benefits of these systems are three superpower groups.
Each superpower group is pursuing an immense zero-sum game for its own prestige and prosperity.
In this world of never-ending warfare, a private armed organization appears whose mission is to "eradicate warfare with force". The possessors of GUNDAM mobile suits are knowsn as CELESTIAL BEINGS. We begin the armed intervention to all warfare with GUNDAM.


Managed to get rid of the frosting problem. But the blue parts of the Exia had to be repainted. The chest part needed modding as it was badly damaged and couldnt be sand down. But after some modifications, it looks alright.
Sadly Shentai hasn't call me. Maybe this year's entries are really good. Ah well. have to work harder i guess :) anyway...

guess i might not be able to take part in this year's bakuc afterall..
i sprayed the exia with flat coat and the whole kit frosted up like frosty the snowman... fucking sad now. all my hard work gone down the drain. My phone screen also died on me. so have to use an old phone. The last time i ever felt so shitty was when i broke up with my gf. seriously...
anyways... will try to do something about it when i have the time.

Mechanical Chain Base

Was on the plamo few days ago and saw someone did the same concept as my celestial being base and without knowing i posted my work. which was ofcoz of no standard compared to his. so embarrassing. lol..
and so i decided to do somethingelse. many years back i bought some mechanical chain base and decided to finally put them to some good use.
and since bakuc is already around the corner and school has already started for me..
this project is going really slow..

in this diorama, exia will be engaging an overflag. Celestial Being is starting their intervention to eradicate warfare with force.

MG Legend Gundam WIP

Hello again...
This was the initial plan for this year's bakuc.. the Mg Legend conversion.
In this project. i will attempt to use Mg Destiny's frame.
Destiny is supposedly the twin of Legend just like Justice and Freedom.
But like no motivation right now.. Plus after watching gundam 00 series.. zomg!!!

Mg Gundam Exia

Hey guys...
Some pictures of my holiday project. the mg exia. Spent almost 2 weeks plus on this guy. and my holiday is almost over already. :( Was quite lazy with this kit since its like a refresher kit as i have been away from modelling for quite abit. sadly.. this guys has 0 modifications. but it did turn out quite well.. except for one of the transparent green parts. i accidentally dropped it into my enamel wash while i was sleeping. thank god it didn't crack. other than that.. its been a really fun kit to build. another sad thing is that i have been running around the whole of singapore trying to get the mg decals. everywhere was out of stock. i guess maybe because bakuc is coming up and many will send the exia kit too.. aha shit! enough said. here are some pictures. will be sending this in for bakuc. :) enjoy

It is the Celestial Being's version of the action base

Did alot of masking for this base.

But as my masking skill is still terribad. there are many flaws.

But when you see from afar. it actually looks pretty decent. :)
